Here’s a great fall portrait session with Jenn & James and their lovable pooch, Cali. Puppies can be challenging to photograph because they move quickly and aren’t the best at following directions (squirrel)! But we got some cute shots of the trio.
We photographed an anniversary party on Mercer Island for two couples celebrating their 25th anniversaries. It was beautiful with the colorful saris, and amazing henna art. It was a great crowd, and we especially enjoyed capturing the fun games and dancing. Congrats the the happy couples on their milestone!
Lisa and John had a beautiful ceremony at St. James Cathedral in Seattle, WA. The church sits on First Hill, and is magnificent inside. The reception was at Golden Gardens Bathhouse, one of my favorite locations for it’s ambiance and natural light. I photographed the sister of the bride’s wedding last summer, and it was a treat seeing the same family again a year later, celebrating another happy occasion. Congratulation Lisa and John!
We had a great time shooting Brent and Shy’s wedding at the Georgetown Ballroom in Seattle. It’s a fabulous location, with an eclectic mixture of decor. It’s reminiscent of what we imagine Seattle was like at the turn of the last century, with lots of exposed brick and wrought iron banisters. The bride and groom made a really sweet couple and were lots of fun to work with. They planned a memorable evening for their guests with wood fired pizza and s’mores by Inferno Catering, and dancing that lasted late into the night. Here are some images from the wedding.
Here are pictures from Breanna & Chad’s wedding at Bastyr Chapel and the Woodmark Hotel. It was a beautiful Seattle day, and visiting multiple locations gave us lots of variety to work with. The ladies got ready at the Sorrento Hotel in downtown Seattle, while the men were across the lake at the Woodmark. We met up for bridal party pictures on the dock at Carillon Point, and continued on to Bastyr Chapel for the wedding. After the ceremony, it was back to the Woodmark for the reception. There was no shortage of dancing, and the awesome Michael Benson Band kept it going all night. Lindsey and I had a fantastic time shooting this wedding together. Congrats Breanna & Chad!
I met up with Shyanne and Brent at Pike Place Market in Seattle, WA for an engagement session. It was a busy day at the market, and this couple wasn’t shy about taking pictures among all the hustle and bustle. We had a great time working together and I’m looking forward to their wedding in just a few short weeks.
Caroline and Chad got married at the Clise Mansion in Redmond, Washington. It was a very elegant evening, and a fun crowd, so we had a fantastic time. Lindsey was a bridesmaid in the wedding, and I chased after our three-year-old, but we both took pictures along the way. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
Emily and Ross had a beautiful winter wedding in Portland, Oregon. They had a traditional Jewish ceremony at Beth Israel with a swanky reception following at Bay 13 in the Pearl district. The bride is a childhood friend of mine, and Lindsey and I attended this wedding as guests. But I didn’t leave my camera at home!
Here are some pictures from Katie & Josh’s wedding at Bybee Nims Blueberry Farm in North Bend, Washington. The location is quickly becoming one of my favorite wedding venues. The view is stunning and outdoor locations like this make for relaxed people who have a great time.

Here are pictures from Courtney and Greg’s wedding a couple weeks ago. It was a special wedding for me because I had previously photographed the groom’s sister and the bride’s sister at their weddings. It was a treat to see so many familiar faces. The wedding was at First Lutheran just across from Wright Park. The reception was at Fircrest Golf Club.
